"We’ve seen a lot of older people, and they’re all trying to buy groceries and a lot of places have ran out of stuff, and so the older people are kind of taking the downfall for that. I just try to give back when I can," Elizabeth explained.

17-year-old ‘angel’ cashier pays entire $173 grocery bill for senior shopper

From the Good News Network:

Senior shopper Layne McKeel hasn’t been able to get out of his house very much since the start of the coronavirus outbreak.

He had just picked up his disability payment last week when he decided to go get some food and supplies from the Fresh n’ Low supermarket in Georgetown, Tenn.

When he went to check out, McKeel discovered he was $33 short on the $173 grocery bill. He started looking for items to put back.

That’s when the 17-year-old cashier, Elizabeth Taylor, volunteered to cover the entire bill herself.

“We’ve seen a lot of older people, and they’re all trying to buy groceries and a lot of places have ran out of stuff, and so the older people are kind of taking the downfall for that. I just try to give back when I can,” she explained.

That attitude makes Elizabeth an #ImpactChristian.
