Chick-fil-A employee regifts new car prize to coworker using bicycle

Most people in Wisconsin don’t want to drive in the cold, let alone ride a bike in it. But, for 19-year-old Hokule’a Taniguchi, her only means of transportation from her home in Neenah to her job at Chick-fil-A nine miles away in Grand Chute was her bicycle.

That all changed when her coworker, 17-year-old Haley Bridges, won a brand new car at the company Christmas party a few weeks ago. Haley promptly regifted the vehicle to her friend, WLUK-TV reported.

“I was biking here every morning, so it was a little rough. Because I’m from Hawaii, I was like, ‘It’s kinda cold!’” Hokule’a remarked. “Now I can go grocery shopping. I can go to work five minutes before I start, instead of two hours earlier, just to get here on time. There’s a million more opportunities and possibilities for me now!”

Although she’s not yet a legal adult, Haley proves it’s possible to be an #ImpactChristian at any age.
