Yes, I want to hear how much Jesus loves me. Who doesn't? But I also need to understand just how broken I really am and what can be done to change my heart.

A tale of two teachers

Amber Lee, writing at Will Not Be Taken, offered a profound story of attending a women’s conference that featured two different speakers.

One was much older and shared a strong biblical message. The other was much younger and talked mostly about herself.

It seems to be par for the course today.  We tend to reject sound biblical instruction in favor of messages our itching ears want to hear.

Yes, I want to hear how much Jesus loves me. Who doesn’t? But I also need to understand just how broken I really am and what can be done to change my heart.
