There is nothing “black” about Christmas. So, why do we kick off the Christmas season in darkness? Why has Thanksgiving – and especially the day after – been overrun with greed and materialism?

Whenever we try to follow Christ and live out Biblical principles in our lives or in the way we do business, we will never, ever appease worldly people, cultures or organizations. So, don’t even try.

I suspect that before long everyone will be exposed to 15 days of shame as their dark secrets, past beliefs and ancient actions are brought to light.
The facts remain. America was founded by Christians to be a Christian nation espousing Christian views — and giving people the right to reject it all, if they want to.

I guess it should come as no surprise that this is what society has become. Ultra-vain social media snobs resorting to fraud to impress their many followers who fawn over their every picture and word.

I believe that self-control is the root of all other spiritual fruit. Without it, you can’t harvest any of the others. Perhaps that is why it’s mentioned last in the list of spiritual fruit shown in Galatians 5:22-23.

The problem with adapting to the times, Stacia, is that society is devolving before our very eyes. Like society, you, too, are changing and constantly evolving. God doesn’t.

I wanted to tell her MY story and explain MY rationale, not so God would get the praise and thanks, but rather that it would come to ME.

As people get older, how many of them begin to lose hope? Birthdays are often painful reminders of how life didn’t turn out the way they had hoped.

There is a reason why communion is considered to be holy. Yet, this concept of fast food communion does not allow people to examine themselves. It’s gulp and go.
