South Dakota requires national motto to be displayed at all schools

A new law in South Dakota requires all schools to put the national motto “In God We Trust” in a display at least 12 inches by 12 inches in size.

Most schools plan to include the motto as part of a patriotic themed display.

Predictably, that doesn’t sit well with the notoriously anti-God Freedom From Religion organization which proclaimed a public display of the national motto to be “stealth campaign” to trick innocent, captive school children into believing the United States is a theocracy.”
